- Got an error, device address out of range. There were a number of files in this driver that were older than the ones already on the system, I did not replace the newer files. Do not know if this contributed to the problem or it was simply the wrong driver. Since I don't want to take any chances on removing stuff I can not replace, I will try to find a different driver. The package of the driver looked complete. Assume it is a hardware compatibility issue, and not the fault of the driver.comment by Frank+Harrison

- Hey, I have a presario 1220 and I had formatted the drive, needed the audio driver. At first I tried dlding the file w a 3rd party dlder but I had to uninstall it, it was misreading the file as an HTML. I dlded regularly, installed and it worx just fine, Thanx Clay )comment by John
