Not sure if it's better than the driver that was on the machine, but I recieved a repair for a modem that was not picking up a dial tone... The problem, after further inspection, appeared to be a fax phone which the phone line was running through to get to the modem. The driver installation was easy, however, and I recommend it for that reason.comment by Clifford+R.+Titus+III
